Haven't had a proper long experience for some time even though there have been some curious, short ones here and there.
Been listening to the Real Subliminal LD recordings for about a week now. Also recently switched to using the Witnessing The Breath meditation instead for about a week too.
This morning (Saturday) after meditating I lay on my back and started dreaming very vividly about my cat being in great pain as she has passed something which was too large for her. It was a rat that was undigested. ????
She looked quite wounded from the experience and I was horrified to see it all.
I then became aware, as I was in the kitchen, that the events were all very peculiar and questioned whether or not I was dreaming. I stuck my hand into the polished floors and it sunk in. I was dreaming.
I then went outside where there were sharp shrubs pointing inward onto the path. I tried moving forward but had difficulty doing so. I eventually was able to reconnect with using the will centre in order to move forward and could do so.
I then moved up the garden path to the main road and thought about what course of action I should take. I saw workmen on two different houses (a reality in the physical, in fact) doing some construction etc and I chose to just glide down the street. The reality of it all was simply overwhelming.
I even doubted whether I was actually out there, out of body, or if I was physically there.
I stuck my fist into the road and it went straight in. But I had to do it twice as I just wasn't convinced!
Then I felt a need to take off my garments, cap and spectacles(?) which I felt encumbered by. I was concerned I might get arrested for doing so as it all felt so physically real to me. lol

Lucid Dream & OBE Travels
This will be a long-term diary of Wake Induced Lucid Dreaming (WILD's) and Out Of Body Experiences. Whenever the energy is right and all things balanced, other-worldly travels will flow naturally. :-)

A loftier perspective
Listened to AWVFTS before bed, so suitably very relaxed. Woke up at 5am an emptied bladder and back to bed. Let go of everything mentally, very easy and pleasing to do.
Became aware I was dreaming and decided to lift off. Held a very clear and balanced perception of my surroundings and great emotional balance so the experience was well-controlled without a premature ending of any sort.
Flew around and explored a fair bit - awesome experience with an enormous vista to take in. Breathtaking views of the mountain ranges around (in the distance) and the city in the foreground and two men down below on the ground dwarfing into the distance. Decided to go as high and fast as possible backwards towards the sky which was exhilarating to say the least. Then flew off at enormous speed towards the sea and immersed myself into it, letting go of any fear as I prepared to be 'submerged'.
Later I was trying to take off for further flights when an irritating factor was added to the equation of things with a young, blonde boy (felt he was 'my son' or something??) who kept grabbing onto me and preventing me from flying off each time. He thought it was hilarious as he was quite mischievous about it all.
I got annoyed and grabbed him by the scruff of the neck and felt something trapped in his neck which was bothering him. It felt like it was a cherry seed or something that had become lodged. Maybe he just wanted my attention to get me to help him?

The Blue Burmese
Woke up Sunday a.m. and needed some more rest so I put in ear plugs and went 'back in'.
Became aware I was dreaming so put my hand through the wall to confirm it again.
Then decided to use the 'falling backwards' technique in order to move from the lucid dream and separate from the physical body.
Once again, there was that slow motion sensation like you're never going to hit the floor, along with odd vibrations and strange sounds.
Left my body and went outside the house, gliding past other houses in the neighborhood.
Turned to my left and saw a blue burmese cat ("Leo", our cat from the past maybe?) sitting on the roof of a house who quickly turned its head to me and fixed its eyes intently on me as I glided past.
It then jumped from the roof to alongside of me and demanded my attention - it wanted a pat which I happily gave to it. :)
I was amazed that I was experiencing an interaction with another conscious 'being' in this state as it could get a bit lonely at times.
Then as I was at the bottom of Jack Street I stopped in my tracks as I wanted to experience something new and novel, plus the fact that the clothes (?) I was wearing in this state seemed to be restrictive to my movement and sense of freedom.
As I was stripping down to my underwear and shirt I also realised I had to take off a pair of spectacles, which left me feeling quite baffled to say the least.
A guy then rode past on his bike and as I watched him he tuned his head back and stared intently at me, as if making contact somehow.
I had a curious compulsion to dip my hands into the bitumen road to sense the nature of the substance and it was strange like a slow-moving dirt of sorts. Very unusual.
Something must have made me feel unbalanced as I then started wobbling in my attention field and found myself back in my body again.

Flight to the city
Went to bed feeling an awful sadness, like some deep sense of loss was there - akin to a persistent lack of fulfillment. Wasn't exactly helped by watching the movie Just Like Heaven with Ms. Witherspoon on telly just before bed.
After numerous vivid dreams and waking up at 3am feeling unsettled, I tossed and turned for about an hour and stuck an ear plug in one ear to fall asleep on my other side. Eventually I became aware I was 'out' and tested my surroundings by pushing my hand into a wall and was then convinced.
Moved through the wall with some pressure applied and then was outside. Decided that since my control/self-discipline was so excellent that I should experience some flying.
I then realised I was naked but not bothered in the least as I floated effortlessly into the air and ascended to a good altitude. Then I moved along at a reasonable pace, quickening my speed when I saw that I had things under good control.
As I became faster I noticed the city in the distance with the obvious tallest towers present and I made it my aim to reach them and experience landing on one of them to get a bird's eye view and just enjoy a new, higher vantage point.
I then felt a force pull me down to the ground unexpectedly and I was suddenly at a cemetery of all places! I felt a presence with me and quickly deduced that 'they' had pulled me to that site for a reason and purpose, of which I felt unsure and quite uneasy to say the least.
I quickly 'willed' myself back to my body and then was conscious in my physical body with some paralysis as well as a feeling of someone lying on my back(?!) and I struggled to free myself from this grip as I didn't like what it suggested at all!
It could have been a simple misinterpretation of the physical sensations associated with the cataleptic state which either precedes or comes after these physical 'exitings' or it may have been an unwelcome 'hitchhiker' as suggested by some authors on the subject. Either way, I felt very uncomfortable with it and it left an awkward sense of unease for the remainder of the day.

Very, very long Lucid Dream
Woke up at 6AM on public holiday, feeling pretty much 'over' everything and just wanted to totally let go on all levels. Another definite nadir.
Had in ear plugs still from during the night which gave around 8 hours sleep (a record for me!) so felt fairly rested.
Went and emptied bladder then went back to bed and lay on back.
Not long into dreaming I became aware I was Dreaming and tested the surroundings by dipping my hand into the wall and pulled it out. Yep, proof positive there.
I think I was going up in a lift and decided to jump out of it sideways, out of the building and floated down to the ground way down below while maintaining full control of my focus and emotions. Quite commendable efforts there. ;)
Went into a building which resembled a library and enjoyed for quite some time just walking around stabilising my perception in the Dream while paying attention to everything in the 'Bored, curious' manner which extends the lucid dream for ages.
Eventually came up to various levels in the library and chose to sit down with my legs dangling over the edge like a little boy and there was sunshine coming into the building so I sat there enjoying the experience of what this felt like while being fully conscious inside a Dream.
Quite nice and invigorating.
Got bored after a while so chose to see where all these other young men were heading off to. Went up a couple of levels checking out some of the people there on the way and entered a large room which I thought would be something like a hall of some sort but turned out to be an enormous shopping place like Bunnings or KMart etc.
The unexpected change was so bizarre I was a little stunned.
I even went around asking the people there in the shop about the purpose of the enormous store and got various unhelpful responses, like they were bothered by my asking them.
The Dream then seemed to change (end?) and I was back in a house living with my Mum. She had just returned from shopping and some of the groceries (kiwi fruits?) had fallen out of the bags in the back of the car and rolled down the driveway so I floated down to pick them up for her....all the while fully knowing it was a Dream and it was a curious experience acting out a role of which I was fully aware.
After some time I got bored of this particular Dream and decided to leave through the back of the house and into the back yard. Fully aware I was awake inside the Dream world I moved up to the back fence and there were two German Shepherds (!) next door running towards the fence because they could see me, which left me feeling pretty uncertain what to do next. However as they reached the fence they were very affectionate/friendly and wanted to lick my hand through the fence which was nice.
The owner of the dogs walked up to the fence to see what the commotion was but couldn't see me at all! He looked very confused by what was going on and called the dogs back inside the house.
As they went back to the house I followed them and moved through the wall of the house by using my hands to 'part' the wall by dipping my hands into the substance and moving it aside...had the texture of moving newspaper aside really.
Watched the man who then looked exactly like my Dad but from years ago, while he was busy cooking some fatty sort of food like sausages and could smell it throughout the whole house. The home had a cottage-like feel to it, quite 70's in decor and I noticed a small boy in the lounge room watching television I believe...very young looking.
Decided to leave this scene and reinforced my stable perception in the Dream as I went outside and I floated around considering what I should do.
Flew towards what I perceived to be the city and then ended up near what resembled King George Square in our city. It was dark and very early morning hours with only a few people around.
I felt an odd and powerful need to remove my clothes and do cartwheels across one of the main streets. There were a few cars around but not too many. Some people watched me remove my clothes and I carefully gauged their reaction as being only mildly curious and non-hostile. My cartwheels across the street weren't the best, but it was liberating nonetheless.
Then I thought it would be good to practice some low-level flying which I did as I glided close to the street level, all the while having to focus so I wouldn't collide with the bitumen and grate my nakedness. lol
I then chose to speed up my flying and became faster and faster, eventually my flight through the street became a blur as I flew at ridiculous speeds around the city.
I then heard some announcement across a speaker in some street that a naked citizen was caught on camera flying around causing a nuisance to fellow citizens and I quickly had to remember where I carefully laid my pile of clothes so I could fly back there to collect them and dress myself to avoid capture. LOL

Is it a Dream, or.....?
After using my HemiSync 'Meditation' CD I then lay down peacefully and entered normal dreaming. Was at the old duck pen when I was a teenager and suddenly became aware of how everything was so powerfully vivid. Both chooks, ducks and a few scrub turkeys (?) flew over to me from the house. I felt they had a need to be 'close to me'. Like I exuded some sort of magnetism. lol
Then I realised I could fly (as you do) and took off flying towards the house roof. A part of me didn't believe it but I said 'I can do anything in dreams'. Then I kept repeating to myself that I was dreaming to reinforce it and I just leapt around on the house roof, practicing control of movement. But another part of me said I wasn't Dreaming but this was a real out-of-body experience.
Then I decided I wanted to perform some actions that were directly under my control for the sake of improving focus and longevity of the Dream state.
I then flew down to the ground and considered a long walk down the road (for old time's sake) to test the stability of my awareness in the Dream/experience. My movement had that *slow motion* factor to it which reinforced the conclusion I just earlier arrived at which was that it was an OBE in a different 'locale' rather than just plain lucid dreaming.
I considered for a moment what the obstacles to achieving this wwalk and realised that distractions as well as becoming emotional in any way what put an end to the experience.
So I began walking/gliding down the road, very aware of my responses to the nature of the experience and trying to moderate them for the sake of stability. After a while I suddenly felt a strong internal emotional response and stability of perception faltered, ending the experience and changing into another dream where I felt fairly suspicious of the validity of what I was undergoing but failed to act upon this by performing a reality test.

Understanding the need for discernment
After meditating and letting go of everything I lay on my back and easily entered a peaceful state of surrender.
Then I became aware I was in my lounge room. Since the experience was so similar to actually being in my lounge room physically I found it difficult to discern the difference and see if I was actually there in the physical or not.
I then realised that with frequent 'critical state testing' throughout the day this would be achieved much more smoothly, rather than feeling somewhat perplexed in this state since I haven't been doing this regularly enough for a while now.
Moved out of my house and then explored my state and surroundings with somebody there helping me in the process. :) (Male being?)
Woke up and re-entered dreaming a few times after that, almost being lucid but mistaking the experience for being something else.
Was searching for my iPhone in the train I was on as I feared I had left something behind and it turned out I did. lol
I had to make an entry on my iPhone about the lucid experience I had just had and I was thinking of a good title for the blog entry, conveniently overlooking the fact that I was actually still dreaming. lol
